There are 3 parking spaces available about 2 kilometers outside of Kohlberg/Opf. located in a hamlet. The site is gravel, has electricity and fresh water is available. At the moment, the chemical toilet and the gray water cannot be disposed of. From the pitch you have a beautiful view of the adjacent fish ponds, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and watch life around the ponds. Here ducks, coots, herons and the occasional osprey can be seen. The nearby forest, about 150 meters away, invites you to take a relaxing walk, where you can pick mushrooms, blueberries or lingonberries, depending on the season. Deer and stags can often be seen at the edge of the forest. Kohlberg is located between Weiden/Opf. (16 km) with a thermal bath and Amberg (25 km) with a very beautiful old town. Only 10 kilometers away is the well-known "Monte Kaolino" in Hirschau with an outdoor pool, summer toboggan run and climbing garden and various shops. A newly built cycle path leads via Etzenricht (approx. 7 kilometers with an Edeka market) to Weiden.
