About the site
The meadow orchard is located on our farm not far from the tranquil village of Groß Rheide. On the farm we breed old and endangered livestock breeds such as Mangalitza woolly pigs and white horned Heidschnucke sheep. In addition, llamas and alpacas live on the farm, with whom (if the time permits) you can book a hike in the surrounding nature. The farm also has a farm shop where farm products and regional products can be bought. Due to the proximity to the Treene, a canoe tour is possible in good weather, and the Treene invites you to swim on hot days. The nearest bakery is 1 km away in the center of Groß Rheide. Countless shops are about 10 km away in Kropp. Groß Rheide is located in the border triangle between Husum, Schleswig and Rendsburg. All cities can be reached by car in about 20-25 minutes and invite you to take a day trip.
