Here you can stand on a meadow at the edge of the forest. There is nothing here but deer, buzzards, the forest and you. So you have to be able to take care of yourself, including your own toilet! Please don't pee in the meadow and take your rubbish and the business of your (four-legged) friends with you! If you don't mind all this, you will find a nice place in the middle of nature here. The Biggesee is a 10-minute walk away and invites you to enjoy a sunset on or in the water. Attendorn is the nearest town, a 10 minute drive away, and has everything you need. Rewe is open until 10 p.m. In the area you can hike (the site is right on the Way of St. James and the Sauerland high-altitude flight is not far), go cycling (if you don't have a problem with mountains) and do many other exciting things that bring you into nature. The only catch is the drop forge, which is within earshot of the square. They can disturb the idyll a bit, but from 10 p.m. at the latest you have nature all to yourself. The entrance to the meadow is below the glass container (see photos). You can basically stand where you want, I recommend the upper right corner of the meadow (that's where you have the most peace and the forge is quite far away. You may only park where the lawn has been mowed. The back part behind the stream is taboo! Unfortunately, there are quite a lot of ticks this year, so look for ticks in the evening and protect yourself accordingly (long clothing, TBE vaccination if necessary, observe the bite site in the case of tick bites because of Lyme disease) Attention: The meadow has some potholes and unexpected elevations. So take a good look where you are going or stay close to the road if you do not trust yourself/your vehicle to do the terrain. Especially when it rains a lot it can be difficult to get around there. The meadow/place is unsuitable for (truck-like) large mobile homes and other heavy vehicles! But that's exactly what Vansite is all about: the little adventure on your doorstep beyond perfectly trimmed box hedges and 2x3 meter plots.
