We make our orchard meadow on the Schafsteste in the rural Stockum district of the city of Voerde available for self-sufficient campers with Bulli, tent, caravan or mobile home. We provide a hammock and a fire bowl and also a power connection if required - just ask. Voerde is located directly on the Rhine and is an ideal starting point for activities on the Lower Rhine or in the northern Ruhr area. Whether hiking in the Hohe Mark Nature Park, in the Tester Mountains, a walk along the Rhine or through the forest along the Rotbach, whether cycling through the Rhine meadows or the Lippeauen, just ask for tips or suggestions. Xanten (25 minutes by car) with its historic old town, the cathedral, the archaeological park and its water sports center is always worth a trip. The Ruhr area with its industrial heritage (Duisburg North Industrial Park, Oberhausen Gasometer, Tetrahedron Bottrop, ...) can also be reached easily and quickly. Whether a personal contact develops and you sit together by the fire in the evening, or whether someone just wants to enjoy their peace, sit in the evening sun or lie in the hammock, nice people are always welcome!
